What you're missing is an oil galley plug. If you have only an idiot light, and no oil gauge, a plug is in its place, as these are NOT the same sensors.

If you can't find a plug, just get another oil sending unit and screw it in there. Plug might be dealer only. if you still have your old block, take it off and use it.
