And where did you hear this? I do have one of those modded carbs laying around. There are little gains here and there by REMOVING emissions but nowhere near turning a stock asian into a Holly 350. Look at LCE's website, they have a racing carb they build and everything is removed. Its pretty funny to look at. I'm sure you have to manualy choke the carb either with your hand or a removeable plate, but once the engine is warm, the gains should be obvious.
