I got the new adjuster screws in and what a differnece. No more valve chatter. I took it for a ride and it did great. However, there is now a slight tap or knock present toward the rear of the motor. I'm not sure what it is, sounds like its up top somewhere. I used a long extention an it seems like its coming from the last two valves or the last cyl. Maybe one of the valves is adjusted wrong? But its more of a knock than a tap. Any ideas??

And the rear main seal might be leaking. I sure as hell hope not b/c I used a sleeve and new seal. But theres drips present on the bellhousing after a road test. Doesn't leak while just sitting there idling. I have a bad feeling about this.

ON the bellhousing? Not coming out of it? Those half moon seals on the head are real easy to knock out of place, and you had the valve cover off to replace those screws. That'd be the first thing I'd check.

It's not the half moon seals or the valve cover. I was hoping that was it but I let it idle for 15 min and watched the back of the valve cover an nothing leaked up there. Then I took it for a short ride and there was drips present at the bottom of the bell housing. I think its the rear main. Going to do a few more test runs before I decide to tear it down. I just don't understand why it would be leaking from there. I double checked everything b/c I didn't want this to happen.
