Thanks for answering my Q. For now I'll forget about the crank. Might pop the caps off one at a time and plastigauge them but doubt it. Don't really want to now. The motor ran fine until I took it apart. Just leaked all over the top end.

I was gonna plastigauge the crank to check it out. But now that I know you have to yank the block to pull the crank I'm not gonna go there. This top down rebuild ends at the rod bearings.
