Hey guys, hopefully someone can shed some light on this for me. Rebuidling ps pump on '94 V6 and having trouble getting pulley off of pump. Removed the 17mm bolt and tried tapping pulley from back, etc. Next I tried a regular gear puller with the 2 arms around back edges of pulley. Well this started to bend the pulley.

So I rented a power steering pump pulley removal tool, but on the Yota's there is no raised lip near the threads (center)of the pulley for the tool to grab onto.
Any ideas on how to get this pulley off the shaft ? I can't even get the pump off the truck, because a long bolt can't be pulled out until pulley is removed.

Thanks
