USA 4Crawler Web Wheeler Quote there are no codes present. taped and rap'd the egr but nothing. i will add that the problem is only present when the truck warms up. For a test, try plugging the vacuum line running to the EGR valve itself. EGR is only supposed to come on when the engine warms up and only at certain operating conditions. If disconnecting the valve helps, then the vacuum lines to the EGR modulator may be plumbed wrong.
