I went to the dealer and they quoted $1300 (Yes-One Thousand Three Hundred Dollars)for new carpet in a 97 4Runner. I had new carpet in my entire house installed for that price a few years ago.
Any leads on where I can get a better price?
I have been the only owner of the vehicle and its time to get rid of the old carpet that has years of beer, coffee, and fast food being spilled on it.

Shoot, you're in the big city; get into your Yellow Pages and find automotive restoration specialists, get your material from them, and use the old carpet to cut your pattern.

It's the ONLY place I'll buy carpet from. Wonderful quality and good prices.

If you want to clean out old carpets, i used sunlight bar soap (the really strong stuff that comes in the old looking package) and scrubbed it really well with a stiff brush and used a powerwasher.
The carpets came out like new.

That's a nice little website bkg! I see they offer some good general install instructions too. We're always looking for product feedback here.
