I agree. I actually had no problems with my automatic hubs. There were times that i was stuck and placed it in 4WD and rocking the car . You could hear the noise when the hubs locked and the car moved foward. I went to the manual hubs just to assure positive engagement and hopefully improve my gas milage. I cant say that i have noticed any improvement in milage. But i do have peace of mind.
