Getting the Wheeling Fever
Does anyone know where I can get the tool for the timing belt tensioner at?
I am going to try to do the belt and water pump replacement around x-mas. Snap-on's web site says unavalible for this part and it is not in their catalog.
I could probably make one if someone gave me the length and approximate radius of the part the goes against the pulleys.

I would even be willing to rent one if possible.

Body Damage is Cool
The SnapOn site I'm looking at lists it as in-stock, or does it not return an error til you actually try to pay?

On other vehicles, I use a socket wrench with a cheater bar to back the pulley off and remove the belt.

I'll go the rental route with you if you want to. I'm down in Virginia, so it could get there pretty quickly. Probably a buck or so to ship it.

I see that Snap-on does have now. Last week it didn't have a picture or the price just "not available".

But for 50 bucks for a one time use I think I will try to go the rental route.

95T100 I will be in contact with you to see what we can work out.

yorkt -

PM me and give a mail address and such and it will be in the mail tomorrow. Assuming you don't break it (not sure it is breakable smile ), cover shipping it there and back and we'll call it even.
