Thanks guys I did them last night since my aunt died we will be having to make that trip its only 300 miles but my wife was kinda worried about the belts. They were pretty cracked. Good thing I did because the A/C belt was about to go! Hearing the Timing Belt is good for 100,000 is good news to me.

Thanks for the link to the Montero Sport forum.

The 302 is in my 77 f100 I was a little intimidated by doing it myself but since it is not my daily driver and I really was able to take my time and I can't count how much stuff I read before doing it and while I was doing it. Its just on the Montero Sport the engine compartment is stuffed! <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif" alt="" /> And after doing a search and people talking about needing a special tool to the harmonic balancer off, I just don't know. Maybe I just haven't looked under there enough to feel comfortable with it. I am going to replace the timing belt on the rodeo it only has the 2.2 four cylinder and there is all kinds or room to work with there and stuff is not all over the front of the engine.
But again thanks all of you for the help and reassurance that I was doing this right!
