Yeah, my wheels do have 3 3/4 backspacing...However, I do remember a post a while ago when Wareagle had issues with 33x12.50's rubbing. He also has a Body lift as well as the 3 in. suspension lift. It has been well noted that 285's will rub slightly with spirited wheeling. A 33x12.50 is approximately an inch wider and will rub even during daily driving without proper modification. In my opinion, you should go with the 33x10.50.

Still looking for somebody who has 35s on a 2nd gen Trooper to tell me if a body lift is required...not crazy about body lifts, but a little 1" BL wouldn't be too bad.

I think you'll need the BL. My 33/12.5/15s sub on 15x7 Snowflakes (0mm Offset). The 1" BL and cutting of ARB bumber reduced "most" of the rubbing, but I still get some in spirited dricing (ie. running over a couple of telephone poles and stack of concrete blocks at 5+ mph).
