If I wanted to install a set to just prevent sagging for when I load down my bed and don't need any lift since I already have 1.5" lift via shackles and like the way it sits right now. What would be good in the way of what coils to get and their length? I can't take any measurements until end of January since I'm deployed right now, but just trying to gather some good info while this thread is still active. Thanks guys.

Merry Christmas <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/patriot.gif" alt="" /> and thank you for your service!

Sounds like you're going to use a stock 12" long TJ coil....much like Napolean did. So I assume your shackles are about 3" longer than stock? My gut feeling says the "Napo coil" will about work for you(see pic below)....you might have a little more lift but you can reduce it by putting stock shackles back on. Now the thing that bothers me is the TJ coil is about 6.5" in diameter....so it comes closer to the tire than my skinny red coils. But that might only be a concern with wider 12.5" tires. This would be more of a concern on 85 and older rigs with the narrower housing....the 86 and newer ones are 3" wider. The Napo coil is not self capturing but heck, most people wouldn't mind that in a DD kind of Runner. Sometimes you can get the coil for free if you know somebody. EDIT::::In your configuration, this would mean a softer ride....yes, your leafs will likely never sag ....and payload goes up. Not bad.
