I only took off about 2 inches. It seem to fit better and seems to be "captive" on top. I was worried about it falling out, but this way, it can't fall out unless it is loose and is turned about 90 degrees. I also put some heater hose on each end. I used dishwashing soap to get them to slide on and then rinsed with water to remove most of the soap and keep them from moving. I like it so far, but need to get the front up just a bit to level everything out..... <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/kewl.gif" alt="" />
