Adam, the flex is enhanced. Having the coils slightly compressed at install seems to provide a little bit of preload on downward travel to the opposite side. The onroad ride is also greatly improved. I have the 3" blocks leftover from my ZUK coil upgrade if you need them to get going until you upgrade to the ZUKS you can have them.
