...a place down in Tucson east of 22nd and Camino Seco st.....I think the name is Chico or Chirco's something like that. What if I supplied a pair of 150# and 4 well made coil holders (better than the temporary ones shown on mine)?

ZUK - You are a fabricating genius . It takes a great mind to design and build stuff like that . I have dreams of being like that , but I just do not have the imagination or the money to follow them through . Hands up to you . I look up to people like you , Seems like when I try to do something I run out of patience or money and it never turns out right .

Seriously, ZUK, you should try to patent that and then sell it to a car manufacturer.

thanks guys for the kind words....but the idea really is a simple one and since I like simplicity, that's why I pursued it. I guess I will put together 1 or 2 of these "kits" next weekend and be back on this thread.
by the way....I can't find the paperwork that came with the coils but the manufacturer seems to be "S.A.W." ....sound familiar to anybody?

And here I thought you were making a funny... Hey, ZUK- I was hanging out at a shop and oogling a 4Runner with portal axles and airbag suspension, and I thought to myself- Hey, moron, pay attention. What if you did a ZUK and put not a coil on your diff, but an airbag, manually adjustable to haul out that 1,000 lb. trophy bull elk you've never gotten and never will except in your dreams? Know any sources for said simple airbag assemblies, available without the computers and other evil technology?

Although the center coil is a cool idea, I couldn't use it cuz I have a "Budbuilt" traction bar. My 85 pickup is sagging in the rear (4" AllPro's) and I like your dual spring setup idea. It looks doable for me. Any idea which spring would be best to get just 2 inches of lift? Guess I should ask if you carry anything in the bed and did you take the spare off just for the pic's? I have a 35inch spare mounted in the stock location and a tool box in the front of the bed, and occasionally carry some weight in the bed.
