Anyway I built this alittle while ago, I'm normaly into nitro gas trucks, This is my first electric rock crawler. I built it out of an old clod buster I had. You ought to check out www.rccrawler.com that's the best place for rc crawling info.

A few tips for you if your going to go outside and crawl on the rocks with it.

Move your battery down low as possible. You could even strap it to the upper links.

Lengthen your wheelbase by getting longer links.

Get some new tires The stockers dont have much traction

Get some 9 or 10t pinions and adjustable motor mounts. This will gear your truck down and give you more torque and better control. ALso, try some Integy Lathe motors or Kyosho Magnetic Mayhems.
