Man that looks awesome......after every post on this thred you guys put up makes me want to start buying parts to build one of these things. How easy would it be to begin gathering parts, not all at once, but just a start? I believe the chasis i could make myself....have got a welder...can work with metal. Any suggestions on a type or where to start for a noob?

When I first got started, I collected parts for about 2 months. I kept an eye on several RC forums for parts.

I would start with a clod. You can find the axles used for around $65-$100 depending on condition and accesories included.

THE best place for rc crawler info is the forums at www.rccrawler.com you can find all the parts you need in the for sale section to build a custom crawler. Just have patience, and check often because stuff goes fast.
