Honestly, the only truck that is any good stock is a TXT-1, and the base truck costs $350, and then you have to buy all your electronics which if you buy the right stuff will run you a few hundred more, and then your back up to $600. Any other trucks that are stock, suck. Especially the clod. TLT's are too small. Everything else is too expensive and not very capable out of the box.

My advice, if you dont want to save up for parts or you dont want to spend $600 or more, buy one of the Nylints. If you really want to build or buy a crawler, get some clod axles and build the rest. (or buy a pre-built chassis)
