I can't wait to get my $40 crawler now. It seems like a lot of fun and looks like you can do a lot to make them run better. On some other sites a lot of people were giving theirs new paint jobs. Maybe if I abuse mine enough I can get it on Pimp My Ride and have them put 392 LCD screens in it with a full salad buffet (With a new paint job of course).

That is a great price. But just so people know, its NOT a great r/c crawler in the form that you buy it in. It doesnt even include any of the electronics to run it. To get started with that kit, you'll need a speed controller $80, batteries and charger $~80, a radio ~$30, servo $30, and a motor $25. So, thats an additional $245 you'll have to spend to get that truck running, and even then, the stock suspension setup SUCKS. A stock Nylint will do better than that. You'll need to buy a new chassis/trans/axles/tires, another $100 or $200.

So, bottom line, that is a great BASE for a quality crawler.

Yeah I got this pretty much just for the axles, but all of the other stuff is a bonus!!! and for $65 shipped you can't beat that. First I'm going to make a clay mold(like the guys on rccrawler) and then build a scale truck after that.
It should be fun <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />

merry christmas btw... <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/cheers.gif" alt="" />

I saw that there was supposed to be a Scorpion MK1 Rock Crawler R/C. At Wal Mart they sell some tires for the Jeep they have and it says on the package that the tires are for the Jeep Rock Crawler and the Scorpion MK1 but I haven't been able to find any online. I really want that Scorpion if there is one made. Has anybody seen one?
