Rusted in place.
On 4WDs, once the calipers are off, there are no other retainers (well except for the rust).
Fortunately I haven't needed brakes yet, because I don't know what's the best way to get them free. <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/angry.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/scared.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/rolleyes.gif" alt="" />
This happened after I starting running black faux beadlocks. The mounting surface creates a pocket where water is trapped around the wheel stud holes. (That's my theory anyway <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/ignore.gif" alt="" />)
