I've ran into something strange.. I purchased a 2000 Sportage the spring of this year and it has been great. No problems other than I had to replace the lock in lock outs. And the primary Cat was busted to pieces when I purchased the sporty. I have been reading this board for the entire time I have owned the Kia, basicly this board is the reason I purchased the Sporty to start with.
I have driven the Sportage all year no problems. I even got 23-24 mpg. About 5 Weeks ago I replaced the stock sized tires with 235/75/15. It improved the ride a great deal just as many of you have stated it would. And the new size even improved the mpg. For 3 weeks I got 25-26 mpg, Yes this is with the correction made for the tire size. Then it turned off cold here in Kentucky and has stayed that way for the most part. And now for the past 2 weeks I have only gotten 21 mpg.. Is this normal for the Sporty to drop in mpg when it turns cold or is it just my Sporty..

If it ain't broke, it will be..
