Does anyone know of an aftermarket performance distributor for the 2.6?

You could probably get a cap and rotor with copper contacts and a more powerfull coil and plug wires from Summit.

Well, my dizzy went bad on the trail and I need to replace it. I have a performance engine, aftermarket coil, wires, cap and rotor but was wondering if there was an aftermarket dizzy for the 2.6. Looks like I'll just be replacing it with an OE...

just use a stock distributor with an MSD box. I believe there a few rebuilt distributors on eBay that last time I looked

yeah, I was thinking that. <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/kewl.gif" alt="" /> Does the MSD box control the motor or just ignition?
