Getting the Wheeling Fever
I can't believe it. I developed an exhaust leak last friday which slowly got worse and worse as I drove home for the day. I imediatly thought it was an exhaust gasket since everything else either new or recently inspected.

To my unamusementI have a crack almost all the way around the 3rd cylinder exhaust port of my Thorley header.
I'm tryin to see if they'll replace it for me. since it's only like 4 years old. talk about putting a damper on my weekend

Body Damage is Cool
i've been noticing a lot of bad things about the thorleys lately. i've got one, and it leaked around one of the air injection holes above the #2 cylinder when i bought it. the weld bead on the inside of the flange is off centered just enough to create an air gap.

i fixed it by sticking my welder in the air injector hole and zapping it shut(the nozzles are steel). no problems since, but it was still a waste of my time.

thorley's design and it's fitment is very good, but the overall quality is a little on the sketchy side.

Sorry man.. I have the Hedman headers. They are ok, not much low end though. I have heard alot of good things about the Thorley Headers though. Maybe they are getting lax on quality or metal tolerance. Hope they help you with it!!
