How did you have the alignment checked? Troopers are kinda quirky when it comes to alignment. On my old 99 I had it in to Sears like half a dozen times and they never did get it right, even though their computer said it was "within spec". Finally I took it to an alignment specialty shop, with nary a computer in sight...they aligned it with string and chalk and who knows what, and it was perfect.
