If I recall correctly, the IFS front drive shaft is different from a solid axle's front driveshaft. But, I can't recall what the differences were. I'm looking for a replacement driveshaft for my '85 and the people responding to me either have IFS front drive shafts or they don't know.

The slip shaft on my '85 is shot thanks to NWOR's <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/scared.gif" alt="" /> handy dandy drive slip shaft boot (like a shock boot) that trapped in all the moisture, dirt and crud and let it get into the slip shaft.
