I should probably ask the shop I got the quote from what it would be to upgrade to a longer slip shaft. Part of the problem of wear may be that there wasn't as much slip shaft contact due to the 3.5" suspension lift I have. The shop quoted me $200-$250 to replace the slip shaft with a stock length.
