Rezkid-we're in the process of buying a cabin in Groom Creek, so we'll be up in your neighborhood fairly often. Maybe we can arrange a wheeling trip in the Bradshaws sometime. I've got my wife's cousins from San Diego bringing their Jeeps out in late January to try the back road up to Crown King, and I anticipate using our cabin as a base for many more wheeling trips in the North country. Got any favorite trails up there? By the way, I'm waiting for some video from last weekend that shows my Montero with about 5 feet of air under the left rear wheel (and almost rolling according to the spectators), so I'll have to figure out how to post it once I get it.
95 Montero SR 3.8 MIVEC, Advance headers, 2 1/2" exhaust, Magnaflow muffler, OME shocks & rear springs, 2" body lift, 3" tank lift, 4.90s, TRE front locker, factory rear locker, Roger Brown Rock Sliderz, 315/75r16 (35") tires, Sport big brakes

I grew up in Kayenta, and know most of Monument Valley like the back of my hand, same with Mexican Hat area, and Cedar Mesa/Bears Ears. Ack!!! I was the Dept of the Interior lead inspector on Peabody's Black Mesa/Kayenta operations. Spent one week a month at the Wetherill Inn for 9 years. Spent many, many, many hours exploring Black Mesa, Skeleton Mesa, Slick John's Canyon, Copper Canyon area, and a whole bunch of places that I don't even know if they have names. If I was a single man, I'd live there (not because of the abundance of women, but because I'd be divorced if I did move there). Used to camp out on top of the mesa overlooking Kayenta and Chilchinbito...and, there are elk and lion up there. Great spot!
