What ever happened to Geophie and his chopped rig that is a pick up now? I would love to do this to my 2dr to cart around the dirt bike!

Having a rig like that would be AWESOME, but there ARE some alternatives besides a trailer. Like this:

Had a buddy build mine. Was super cheap, and very simple. Requires no tie downs or straps. Ramp mounts beneath the rail the bike rides on. Used cheap steel, but I've since upgraded the main rail to aluminum to make it lighter. My friend built 2 completely out of aluminum...very sweet. But if a rack isn't your cup of tea, just get a LWB, and use a couple tiedowns to keep your suspension cranked down, and get a plank, and "ta da", bike hauler.

i'm getting 4.90's but its really not that bed with the 4.27's???? or are they 4.32's??? i dont remember but they are highway gears, i was worried about overheating on the trail since v6 monteros only get 2 row radiator and i have a 2" body lift without a radiator shroud but its been fine so far i havent gone out in the summer yet but by then i'll have a 3 row and 4.90's

Wow! <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/shiner.gif" alt="" /> You still have the stock trans case skid plate. You can step on that thing and bend it.
