That's just 'cause you have to work on 'em.... I'd sure like to have a '63-'65 roadster.

Ok. I like those. And I like the 2005-2006 Vettes so far. Lots of cool toys and they work (for now). 505 hp in the '06 Z06 doesn't hurt either.
BTW, all Corvettes now have 6-speed trannys now. Doesn't matter if they are manual or autos.

You know the difference between a porcupine and a Corvette, don't you? <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/nana.gif" alt="" />

First year of the pointy tail pointy nose Stingray was 63 and IIRC, 4 round tail lights for carby motors, and 6 for Rochester fi, and exhaust exited thru round chrome bezels in the valance below the bumper. 64-67 basically the same but with minor gill differences, and somewhere in there was the side exhaust. 62 had the 63 tail and the 61 headlights and same exhaust (not side). I think the thru the bumper exhaust was maybe 57-61. My favorite is the first 4headlight late 50's with the round butt in RED with a white scallop down the side with the fi flags and a WonderBar vertical radio. Second is a 427 67 roadster.

That was what i was thinking of. I remember now that is was the C1 Vette with the tips exiting the chrome bumper on the outsides. Clay
