Body Damage is Cool
I sold my '94 pickup and I am starting all over again with this 2000 4Runner. So far I fixed a broken power antenna, replaced all the fluids with synthetic, added a Yakima roof rack and detailed the inside and out. Today was the first time the drill bit met the 4Runner and boy did it feel good.

I will be doing some electrical modifications in the coming months including footwell lighting, exterior lighting, a distribution block to feed electrical accessories, a power inverter and a couple of other things. The fun stuff will come next spring--rock sliders and most likely a Performance Products lift with Bilstein shocks. Luckily this one already has the e-locker.

Tomorrow I am picking up a set of Limited 5-spoke alloys. Supra fever is over for a bit; now it's time for the 4Runner to have some fun...

Placebo effect says it works! It seems like the truck is a little more responsive and seems to pull a little better from all RPMs, but I'm so used to the car that it's really hard to know if the 4Runner is actually quicker. I do the like the throaty intake sound though.
