Previous Thread Next Thread Print Thread Rate Thread high ldle(posting for a friend) #674090 12/06/05 04:26 AM Joined: May 2004 Posts: 910 dallas,tx T TX4wl OP Rock Warrior I have an 88 jeep cherokee that has a mind of it's own.It's idle when started pegs at three grand.If i unplug the tps,or vacum to the map idle drops to normal.when i plug the map vacum back up it pegs at three grand.If i plug the tps back up it idles at 1500 rpm.I replaced the tps about a month ago and thought it was fixed.It's back now.Have already tried ect,map.no change.ANY IDEAS? __________________ Re: high ldle(posting for a friend) [Re: TX4wl] #674091 12/06/05 05:00 AM Anonymous Unregistered Tune-up, check for vacume leaks....
