Roll Me Over
...well, sorta.
(I don't think this is a repost)

I was watching a rerun of Monster Garage just the other day, where the team from AI Motivators was featured. From the interview, appearently their independent vehicle entry to the DARPA offroad challenge started its life as an Isuzu Trooper!! Paying close attention to the front suspension, you could still see some ties back to Isuzu.

Thought that was pretty cool. Check it out in your spare time, fascinating stuff...

Austin Robot made an autonomous Vehicross (that still looks like one) and CIMAR made this bad mamma out of a Trooper..

Getting the Wheeling Fever
That Robot VehiCROSS made it to the DARPA Grand Challenge qualifying event. Unfortunately it didn't qualify for the finals and didn't compete in the race. There's all kinds of information about it on VehiCROSS.info.

if I wasn't busy, I'd take that as a photoshop challenge. There's a lot of chop bling potential in that ugly sucka!
