Getting the Wheeling Fever
hello all - i have a '91 pickup, and the previous owner put in a smaller-diameter grant steering wheel. i *hate* it, and want to put something wlse in there. i really like the steering wheel that my sister has in her cruiser...anyone know if it will fit? what is the diameter of the stocksteering wheel? any other recommendations to replace this grant with? thanks for the help,

wally

more than likely it'll fit. pretty sure toyota used the same spline count and diameter on all their wheels.

kyle - thanks for the info. the thing that my local dismantler said is that he wasn't sure if the turn signal release stuff would work correctly...any idea?

at this point, i am not sure exactly what i am going to do about this problem...i am debating between replacing my whole steering column with a tilt one or replacing the wiper controls to give me intermittent wipers and replacing the grant steering wheel while i am at it. i need to heat to the local dismantler to see how much a tilt steering column costs... if i just end up replacing the whole column, if you'd like, we can work something out for my grant wheel...
