I've been thinking about the body stretch and I've come to the conclusion that it might not be all that difficult to accomplish. That is; cut up the factory fenders and rearrange the pieces and use some sort of filler (fiberglass, plaster, etc) in order to make a fiberglass mold. It wouldn't be as cheap as buying premade panels, but still cheaper than professional metalwork. Best of all you can keep the mold and easily replace broken panels.
