For the 1st gen Amigo guys, maybe this will show what you will end up with, space wise:

These are full bodied Ranchos and I have about the same clearance as with the stock TRs. Not sure if mine are the same diameter as the Independant4x product.

You can see where the stock TRs were contacting the shock body. No dent but just enough to scrape the paint. I have seen NO additional damage since going to the beefier tie rod.

I did NOT have to relocate the shock mount either.
