Manual says 145, Roger Brown says 90, but shouldn't I be tourqing it a little at a time till I get the right bearing preload? I'm doing my pinion seal right now. Gears were installed professionally 1 year ago. The pinion nut was staked but just tightened, maybe 10 ftlbs. What do you say? Tyler '92 Toyota, 4x4, 22RE, winch, locker, 4.88's, 33's, 2" Body Lift. If it has the typical crush sleeve then just keep snuggin it until the pinion drag feels right.
