Much rather have an H3 than H2 (time to duck and cover!) Choice of offroad package w/ 3:01 tcase range, rear locker, and factory rock sliders? Not to mention dealer instaled options of a Hummer licenced (Warn brand) winch, and off road lights, you could have yourself a helluva trail rig. They look so much better than H2's too.
(time to go into hiding from the H2 guys... ) -J
Edit: Should also mention that the Colorado/Canyon is actually rebadged Isuzu. Been marketed in Thailand for a couple of years as the D-max, just taken right back to the US and rebadged. Kinda like the Holden Monaro magically became the "New" pontiac GTO...

h1 is the only hummer. built well, and sturdy as hell. it just sucks when you have to fit it somewhere.

Well that's interesting.... So, GM decided to look to the Japanese to design it's latest truck and Toyota looked to Americans to design it's new Tacoma. My how things have changed. Now instead of GM having the cheap C channel frame and Toyota having the stout fully boxed frame, things are reversed. How ironic..and sad Well Isuzu doesn't build the worst the trucks in the world and they do see some pretty rough action overseas, so if the H3 is truly based on an Isuzu design, I'd say it's a step in the right direction. Also, the H3 is the "Hummer for the masses" they should have built from the beinging. It's the right size and has at least some capability. The H2 is a total joke. I'd never buy an H-anything, but then again, I'd never buy a new Tacoma either.

I'd never buy an H-anything, but then again, I'd never buy a new Tacoma either. Soo true. Hopefully Toyota will get its head on straight with the taco. The lower strength components are an insult to the traditional hard won loyal toyota truck buyers. What do the people who have always had dodge or cheby or ford trucks say when they change to loyal Toyota buyers? "I can't believe how tough that little thing is, I'll never own anything else." I read the article in truck tread on the new FJ. Man I think I am gonna want one real bad. I hope they sell a stripped down version like they did on the last year of the Supra. If toyota came out with a solid simple utilitarian truck that was relatively cheep man would that ever sell. It would probably kill runner and rav 4 sales thouh.

Heres a D maxx While there not totaly the same, You can tell where GM got there design. The d-maxx's are made by Isuzu, and the colorado is made by GM here in the US. The D-maxx was out a few years before GM started with there verson. I'd love to have a turbo diesel D-Maxx!!!!!! ![[Linked Image]](http://www.weekendhobby.com/offroad/Isuzu/picture/25254822201.jpg)
