It appears to be coming from the top of the transmision? It dropped about a 5 in circle in my garage after the vehicle was idling for about 5-10 min in the driveway? Any ideas? It's going back to the dealership and they have already replaced the transmission pan seal... Not too happy right now with my 4Runner. :-( It only has 2200 miles on it! If too much is in there, it can cause a *syphoning* effect once the fluid warms up. Fluid expands, and has nowhere to go. Might be leaking from the shifter linkage. Could be loose. You know there is no way to check the '05 trans level with the normal stick on the engine. I thought I was going crazy last night looking for it, but when I asked Leith Toyota today they said there was not. A few hours later on Sat. they came to me and said they made a mistake and overfilled the trans fluid! I was not to happy, but it's under warranty and they will make good. There is no way to check the fluid from the engine comp. This is NEW to me... Ugh. Not used to that. Anyway, thanks so much for your time. R.
