I'd really not touch this(Been here done this!) - get someone that does it for a living to do it!

Once it's apart it's still a real pain! (Accessibility is just awful!)

If you get it recon'd - get the brushes and the rectifier done at the same time - these are completely internal and really should be replaced as standard when opening these up!
