The Jeep stuff is synthetic I would use a cheap synthetic 75-90 to flush it then put the jeep stuff back in.

I have found the cheap stuff to be zackly the same as the high priced stuff! The seller cannot afford selling BAD oil!

Not in this case BJ, The jeep brand stuff is a lot better.

You put cheap stuff in a nv4500 and you'll get half the miles out of it.

So MOPAR has a secret? You do know they do not make oil? What differences could there be besides advertising? And why would others not mix their oil the same?

No. You can buy full synthetic non mopar oil that meets there tranny specs. But it is nothing near as cheap as the cheap stuff, and comes close in price to the mopar stuff. So if you are going to be spending about the same as the mopar stuff, why not get the mopar stuff that is 100% guaranteed to be the right stuff?

The best reason I can think of is MOPAR would fight you tooth and nail with the best references and WalMart could not with any such veracity... Walmart would be much more liable in the event of an oil failure.

Wal-Mart doesn't sell good synthetic transmission fluid for a late model manual. Also, Wal-Mart doesn't have a tech department to help you pick out your oil. Also, the oil must specifically say that it is designed for that transmission. Hence you would be liable, not Wal-Mart.

If you could find fluid for an nv4500 or another high quality late model tranny fluid at Wal-Mart, Post what you find here. Wally world auto fluid is good for the engine and diff's, but not for late model manual trannies. Ever wonder why the oil change rate is over 75K in one of those?

Well hell sunder the fact is I have not even looked for late model fluid.. I just supposed it was carried by everyone. Lets put it thisaway when I do need late model fluid I will look there first as I do all other fluids.

This is the only reason I would go with the Jeep stuff it is a 75-85 and everything aftermarket is a 75-90. I don't know what .o5 will do to your tranny, but I can say I will not be the one to test it out for you all

The shifting problem is the gap in the gear ratio's, don't rush the shift, I've had a 97,99,04 which were manual, an they all shifted this way, the 05 rubi that i have is auto an shifts like I like, with no interaction from me.
