Guess my Napa monkeys are as stupid as yours, as well as my dealership monkeys.

I gotta stop visting them. It just raises my blood pressure. Stopped by yesterday for a fuel filter for my Ford. They pull it and I take a look at it. Hmmm, same filter element, different lid gasket from what it should be. Now, I am usually not too picky, but I don't need to have diesel spraying all over the place when I am in the middle of nowhere. The parts monkey makes the comment of "We've not had any problems." I am thinking, a) you are selling the part and b) how many have you actually installed and run? Besides, if I got a filter from you that did not work right, I doubt I would be back to buy another one. <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/rolleyes.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />

Come to find out, they actually changed their design a few years ago and there are better filters than what NAPA now carries.
