Got the new head, not that impressed with packaging or someone dropped it before it went out. Did finally get around to finding the cracks on the old one. http://pg.photos.yahoo.com/ph/kemta...mp;.src=ph&.tok=phOOpQEBeLZ1.N6H

Well, got head on used all Felpro gaskets. Switched out water pump, timing chain and gears, thermostat, fuel pump, all new belts. Ran for a few minutes like a champ then started to hear a horrific noise. Sounded like a broke rod. Pulled oil pan and cant see any damage but flywheel can move an inch or so without crankshaft moving. Any ideas before I pull tranny to see if it is the problem. Starting to rack up the hours on this thing.

Yep, flywheel. Fly wheel looked new except that the threads were gone letting it wobble itself loose. All six bolts were that way. Anyway, Flywheel is on the way. Also went ahead and got new clutch, on the way also. My pressure plates was burnt and had leaves in it. That rubber boot from the slave cylinder does serve a purpose.

Hopefully get the transmision back in this weekend and be back on the road.
Wanna go ahead and replace shocks and do another tuneup while I am throwing money at it.
What size shocks should I get? I have the Tbars cranked and Yota shackles.
It appears everybody loves the KYB, so I guess I will give em a try.
What spark plugs yall prefer?
Any new head breakin tips?
Cant wait to see how the Weber 38 and headers perform. Prolly need a bigger gas tank

I only paid $700 a year ago for her and I got roughly 35,000 miles out of it so I cant complain except I am tired of driving my Dad's Tracker.
