I'm just about to make my own as well, do yours clamp inwards with much force, just sit in the "gutter" or clamp around under the gutter? I'd like to know, because for strength I may be tempted to screw them straight into the roof, considering they will be a permanent fixture. perhaps a pic of them with the door open might help??! By the way, top coloured vehicle, mines the same.
