Inchworm Gear made a dual case adapter for automatics. I'll be down at their shop documenting the install process when I am home for Christmas. <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/mrt.gif" alt="" />

I like the 5speed off road, BUT man would it hurt more to see the grey truck on its side or leanin agaist a rock or tree....

I say go with the auto, roll coat or spray bomb a solid color (if you so choose) and keep waxin the other rig!!

Sweet runners BTW

I'd just line x the rocker panels and rear rockers as well...not the whole truck!

Yeah, I'll duplicolor the bottom 1\3 or so, probably just like the grey 4runner. The rest I'll probably camo.

As far as tires, I think I'll just get another set of the 34x10.5 LTB's and put those on there. They are fairly cheap and pretty light.

Thanks man. When I decided I needed a trail truck, I did a little research on the net and decided these old Toy's were tough. I bought that '83 and beat the snot out of it and it held up well (tho not perfectly).
It's been fun.
I sure appreciate all the advice I've gotten here, I'm sure I wouldn't care for Pirate4x4.

Well, it's sorta a ranger. Those tires are the ones you see on ebay cheap, they are like 54's I think. That thing is too big to go where I go, that's for sure.
