Went out last night - one of the local spots that was shut down has been opened up again for a few months (maybe only a few more weeks).
I went down to check it out and found a mud pit no one had been in for a quite awhile. When we got to it, we weren't sure how deep it would be, it could have been 3 feet deep or 6 inches deep. It turned out to be about 6 inches deep and I really didn't sink much at all.
Check out this vid, I went in pulling my strap just in case, but it turned out to have a good enough base I put it in 2WD about half-way thru the vid. I got to sling some mud, it was fun.

After we took the vid, the place was starting to fill up with people, and I had to pull two people out. One guy toasted his tranny (full size blazer), so I pulled him out of a hole to flat ground.
Then, had to pull out a s-10 blazer, he was just stuck, nothing broken. Here's the kicker - the guy insisted on giving me $14 for pulling him out. I told him no less than 5 times that I didn't want the money, i don't charge for pulls. He wouldn't take no for an answer, do I did take the money. Nice guy, very upstanding.
