Hey rrodriguez! Welcome to the wire. Don't take offense to anyone's comments...some guys will complain if their ice cream is cold.

So my question is where did you get the rear tire carrier?

i am offended by your concept of cold ice cream! i demand that warm ice cream that can be bolted on be made available for my consumption . btw rr, hope you keep coming around... you wont find a smarter (no, im not one of them) group of people when it comes to mitsu.

The spare tire and gas can carrier is custom made just like the bumpers, the job was done by Rivas Racing Remodeling located in Ensenada, the stock tire mount is used on this assembly, it's bolted to the bumper and body with polyurethane bushings, the body bracket is soldered to the internal roll cage because the sheet metal began to rip off, the left arm is secured to the bumper with a bolt and has another eye to insert a hitch lock, on top is a locking device that prevents the removal of the jerry cans, the red holders are Blitz brand, they come with a cheap plastic locking tie, i got rid of them and used ratchet tie downs to really hold them in place.

I was wondering if you could of secured the custom tire and can carrier to the custom bumper. It seems that would be best incase you mess up your rig and want to transplant it to another.

Nice rig! I love that rear carrier with integrated fuel can carrier. I am just back from Baja at Christmas. Went to Laguna San Ignacio, San Borja, Mission Impossible, Mikes Sky Ranch........ I am planning an 07 trip as well. We should try and get a little group together. We have a regular poster from Mexicali here also, with an SAS.
