I am glad you think so, as far as I am concerned the only stuff that comes close to FIPG is the right stuff. Since I do not know much about 22r's but I thought there were certain years that used the cork gasket and other years that did not.

Another thing you should always do to an oil pan is to flatten the sealing edge of the flange before you install it. Take a small block of steel and hold it flat on the bottom edge of the flange then using a small hammer with a flat face tap the top of the flange over the holes in the flange. Go easy with the hammer.
