So the Rubicons that are out these days are pretty sweet how they come with a lot of the modifications that take a lot of time and money to put on yourself. If you could change the Jeep what would you change about it? If you could design your own line of a 4x4 what would it have on it and what would it look like????
If I could design a productuction line vehicle that was street legal I would like a diesel 4 cylinder. Lockers in the front and rear, disk brakes all the way around, a good tranny like the ones in Toyotas, 4.11 gears. Instead of a back seat I would rather have a small truck bed and be able to remove the top still. When I wanted to do some crawling I would just remove the front fenders and the truck bed would come off that way I have all the travel I need.
Where I would save money is the interior. The dash board would be a flat plate of stainless, a heater, ac and cruize control but all the other fancy stuff would be eliminated. I would like it to retail for somewhere around 25k.
What do you think?
