With the plastic molding removed, the sheet metal at the top of the rear seat looks like it could be drilled so that thin headrests could be installed (holes paint-shopped in).

Then you'd just need some headrests to install...

I'd consider doing this if I had cheap and easy access to some headrests, but we rarely travel in my truck. The back seat is not real comfortable for my two teenagers...

go to the junk yard and get some toyota headrests, weld a plate to mount them on the sheet metal...
