I have a 2.6 with a manual in my 89 trooper. I just figured out my mileage this last weekend. I got 22 mpg and that was with all our gear, 2 dogs, m/t's, and very hilly roads. Around town I usually get around 19-20. I put a new head on about 1000 miles ago which helped out alot.
